End of Term Arrangements
At this time of year a lot of events and meetings are arranged,so a timely reminder
POSH car boot sale: this Sunday 4th July

Foundation Stage Concert: Tuesday 13th July at 9.15am [ for Miss Margrie's, Mrs Hickson/Mrs Orsborn?s classes and Morning Nursery]

Sports Day: Friday 16th July at 11.30am
Drama Group performance : Wednesday 14th July at 3.30pm
Last day of term: Wednesday 21st July. School ends at 2pm This will be the usual non-uniform day for 50p.

Staffing
Parents of children currently in Reception and Year 1 are invited to meet the teachers who will be in Year 1 and Year 2 in September. Please come along to the Community Room on Monday 5th July at 2.45pm for Year 1 [currently Reception] and Tuesday 6th July at 2.45pm for Year 2 [currently Y1].
In September Miss Margrie and Miss Tyrrell will teach in Year 2 and Mrs Wood and Mrs Stone [Miss Gailer] will teach in Year 1. Mrs Hickson and Mrs Orsborn, together with Miss Frost, will teach in the Foundation Stage [Nursery]. Mrs Margaret Smith will continue to teach in all classes to release teachers for other duties. The teaching assistants and lunchtime controllers will be Mrs Quarterman, Mrs Corrigan, Mrs Stewart and Mrs Gates. Mrs Buckland is ICT support. The admin staff remain : Mrs Easton, Mrs Williams and Mrs Jeffrey.
We are sorry to say goodbye to Mrs Brooker from Year 2, Miss Verhoef, Y1 teaching assistant, Mr Goodger who has been a lunchtime controller since January. I know the children will miss them all and we thank them for their hard work and commitment. Back to top
South Bracknell Review
The temporary Governing Body for the new Primary School has been decided. It is made up of 6 parents governors, 3 LEA Governors, 4 Community Governors, 3 staff Governors [ including the Primary School Headteacher.] Representatives from both existing Governing Bodies will be on the new one. School Meals
I have been advised by Bracknell Forest LEA that the price of a school meal will be £1.30 from September. Please remember to register for a free school meal if you are in receipt of Income Support, Income Based Job seekers allowance, Support under part V1 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999, Child Tax Credit [but not Working Tax Credit] and with an income below £13230. Caribbean Week
You will have seen the posters about this which takes place during the week beginning 12th July. We would be grateful for any help you may be able to offer with this. If you can send anything relevant in for the children to look at or come in and share your experiences, please let your child's teacher know. Back to top
Concerts
We are pleased to invite parents and other family members to our end of term concerts. Children in Reception and Morning Nursery will be performing at 9.15 on Tuesday 13th July and Y1 and Y2 children on Wednesday 14th July. We look forward to seeing you and hope you will have an enjoyable time!
The Drama Group are putting on a special performance of The Rain Boat for their parents, family and friends on Wednesday 14th July at 3.30 pm and again on Tuesday 20th July at 9.15am
All performances will be in the school hall. Back to top
Sports Day
This takes place on Friday 16th July, from 11.30 am. We would be delighted if family and friends could join us and you are welcome to bring a picnic and stay and have lunch with the children after the events. If you are able to stay for the whole afternoon please bring your family picnic and a groundsheet/ blanket to sit on. There will also be an ice cream van.
On Sports Day all children are requested to bring a packed lunch. If your child normally has a free school dinner and you would like the kitchen to provide a packed lunch please let the school office know by Monday 12th July. We would ask that during the events, all parents, friends and family stay around the edge of the field to watch and do not walk across the field between the activities. Families may take their Infant and Nursery aged children home when they wish after the fun. Please let your child's class teacher know when you are leaving. Back to top
POSH Club
The new POSH committee have arranged a car boot sale for Sunday 4th July in the Car Park. Please come along to have a look and pick up some bargains or contact 01344 427144 after
6 pm. if you would like to sell. Admission is only 20p and children get in free.
POSH club will be open in the holidays. Remember you can register and use the club for the odd day not just the whole holiday, so if your child would like a fun day playing with friends why not contact Carol Ann?phone: 07739 489703 Back to top
Happy News
Miss Gailer will be getting married at 12 o'clock on Saturday 14th August at St Michael and All Angels Church, Pirbright. She would be thrilled if any of the children would like to go along and see her on this special day. We also wish all the best to Miss Verhoef who gets married during the summer break too.



Finally we hope you all have a good break during the summer, with lots of sunshine and fun.
